As the dramatic growth of the mobile web changes the way people consume content, it’s becoming increasingly important for publishers to provide a good mobile experience. Finally, something good for Google Sites. Weebly is really good as well, and I've been bouncing back and forth between them. Score another point for GOOGLE!

With mobile web usage on the rise, it has become even more important for web masters to get their sites optimized for mobile. Kudos to Google for providing this much-needed feature!

I am a bit confused. I dont have the devices mentioned here and hence I cant check myself. I used to run my web development site on Google Pages which has auto-transitioned on Google Sites. Now will that be auto-optimized for mobile devices ?

It's extremely important to provide mobile users with an equally amazing browsing experience similar to those who are using their computers. Mobile technology has made browsing possible, but there are still a few things out of place.

Mobile marketing has gone a long way indeed. It is far better than its traditional contemporaries. However, it's not yet fully maximized to its potential. There's still too many expectations.
