For the default action, we decided to err on the safer side and ensure that information is not deleted. I tested sending an email, and selected my hotmail email account in the "From:" field and Ireland great! It's annoying, but it's not doing actual damage and doesn't force you to correct it. I look forward to Google fixing the bug, but in the meantime I am very grateful for the feature.
